What personal data we collect and why we collect it
 

Purchases

Order completion requires details such as a name and postal address for shipping purposes. An email and phone number are required to send receipts and information regarding their order, which may include messages about the success of payments, the processing and completion of an order. Customers may also receive messages regarding changes to the order and shipment tracking details.

User Accounts & User Rights

If you have created a user account, you are able to review and update the data we have collected about you. This includes your name, order history and addresses, saved payment methods and account details (for login purposes). It is the users responsibility to ensure they have a unique, secure password to protect this information, and to ensure they do not share it with anyone else. Do not use a password you use for any other website or account. Tie Dyes by Kirstie will never ask you for your account password.

 

You can request that we delete your account, which will include all of this stored data. However, this does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes, which also includes purchase history and information for the sake of financial and sales tracking.

Contact forms

Data submitted from contact forms are received securely by email, and are for the sole purpose of answering customer inquiries. The data submitted in these forms are not stored in any other location other than the mail server, and is only accessible by support staff. Form data includes your name, an email to reply to, and the information you supply in your message.

Cookies

If you complete a form on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and additional data in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you complete another form in the future. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
